Job Description

Our fast growing business is looking for an energetic and talented Sales/Account Manager of Consumer Electronics, in our UK sales office (Hertfordshire) to assist in the growth and development of our Audio/Visual product line.

 

It is essential but not compulsory that the successful candidate has a keen understanding and strong passion for Consumer Electronics. You must have the desire to continuously develop your knowledge in this fast moving market. Identifying new product opportunities and demonstrating in depth understanding of the market.

 

As the Sales/Account Manager of Consumer Electronics (Hertfordshire) you will be required to fulfil the following:

 

– Meet and exceed existing client budgets as set out in budget planning;

– Develop and manage new relationships and branding opportunities (in cooperation with and / or direction from Senior Sales Executives and / or Directors);

– Manage sales team (including support staff in UK and Australia);

– Product selection and development (in cooperation with and / or direction from Senior Sales Executives and / or Directors);

– Management reporting (including client relationship / team performance / profitability / industry and trade supply analysis). 

– Liaise with overseas factories managing customer orders & production schedules ensuring deadlines are met;

– Managing and coordination of Sales Support Team;

– Generate and execute product costing ensuring profit targets are met;

– Access suppliers and third party contractors;

– Accept and manage client purchase order contracts

– Oversee art department to ensure packaging and marketing designs and information meets customer business standards

 

Skills/Requirements/Qualifications to fulfil the brief of Sales/Account Manager of Consumer Electronics, Hertfordshire:

 

– Experience / product knowledge in Consumer Electronics is essential.

– Problem solving skills to efficiently and creatively solve difficult, complex problems with supply chain and factories.

– Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong working knowledge of writing and editing standards, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage.

– Genuine care for the business and an overall active participant and dependable team player, capable of change, agility and flexibility when necessary.

– Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and intermediate skills in Power Point.

– The ability to prioritize and work in a pro-active manner with excellent analytical and time management skills. 

– Able to travel.

 

In addition, this role requires Sales/Account Managers with immaculate presentation and communication skills.

 

£45,000 plus, depending on experience
