Job Description

Bachelor of Engineering from Amravati University.
• Over 7.2 years of experience in Software Testing -Banking domain including onsite experience for region Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia aimed at UAT Support.
• Over 1.5+ years of experience in Dataware Housing testing using SQL queries
• Currently working with Cognizant Tech Solutions, Pune as Senior Associate and handling a team with role of Team/Test Lead.
• Experience across different domains application ranging from Mobile Banking, Credit Card, Retail/Core & Investment Banking Applications
• Thorough Knowledge in Test Requirement Analysis, Test Estimation, Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Case Execution, Defect Logging, Defect Tracking and Defect Closure
• Well versed in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, GUI Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Sound knowledge & understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC.
• Good understanding of project planning and execution. Strong in testing concepts and methodologies. Experience in task scheduling, resource management, team management, and project planning and management.
• ISTQB foundation & Prince2 Certified in Project Management
• Able to accurately test estimate and assist the manager in timescale estimation including co-ordination with various cross-functional teams.
• Conduct Defect triage calls to walkthrough the defects with clients and team till its closure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and should have good experience in client facing.
• Takes responsibility for own and team goals. Gives adequate directions and sets meaningful goals to achieve performance expectations.
• Expertise in liaison with client and update client with activities planned and scheduled on daily/weekly/monthly/ ad hoc basis, preparing documentations and different reports, ensuring greater productivity with optimal team size, providing the status to different stack holders on daily/weekly basis, Subversion.
• Conducting Team Meeting and send the MOM Report to Project Manager & Program
• Acting ESA Project Manager & HCM supervisor role for cognizant internal, monthly invoicing check & appraisal process
• Handling a separate team for internal process activities like C2 , PMR audit on project & account level
• Hands on experience on SQL with ETL informatics and basis Mainframe knowledge on DB2& Files.
• Hands on experience on performance testing test’s like load, stress, endurance and tool HP ALM
