Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
– As a Junior Developer, they do the task assigned specific to them and have the required application delivered on time and to specification and that they are all of consistently high quality. You must have an eye for a good UX and will participate in all phases of new product development, including design, coding, testing, deployment and support. Establishing a detailed program specification through discussion with clients:
– Design and develop web applications as specified in the terms of reference.
– Develop proof of concept prototypes as needed
clarifying what actions the program is intended to perform;
breaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language;
devising possible solutions to anticipated problems;
working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the program?
combining all elements of the program design and testing it;
testing sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended;
– conducting testing and installing the program into production;
reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary;
evaluating and increasing the program’s effectiveness;
adapting the program to new requirements, as necessary;
conducting user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately;
– writing detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users and computer operators;
– consulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge;
updating, repairing, modifying and developing existing software and generic applications.

QUALIFICATION:
-Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s /College Degree in Information & Technology, BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering or any related courses
– Minimum of 2 years and above of solid work experience in software development
– Experienced in web design and development using CMS such as Joomla, WordPress. Concrete5 & Magento, etc.
– Extensive experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3
– Web programming experience such as JavaScript, JQuery, and PHP
– Extensive experience with Photoshop
– Has understanding and ability to implement SEO and other web best practices
– Has experience in working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MS-SQL, Postgres
