Job Description

Has the overall responsibility for effectively executing all banquet events to ensure optimum performance and superior guest service. Responsible for coordinating all banquet functions, proper room set up, service standard, proper breakdown of staff, smooth interaction with other department, ensuring excellent guest relations, handling last minute quests, ensuring proper suppliers and par stock are maintained. Also carries managerial duties of recruiting, hiring, training, and development, coaching, supervising and motivating the banquet service team and communicating with all departments relevant to each department. Oversees repairs of equipment and machines under the department.

Qualification:
– Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/ College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/ Master’s Degree. Food and Beverage Service Management.
– At least 5 years of working experience in the related fields is required for this position.
– Preferably Manager specializing in food/beverage/ restaurant service or equivalent.
– Capable of training and developing staff to achieve high level of performance.
– Has excellent communication skills and computer literate.
– Able to foster good working relationship at all levels and the ability to assume total control of the Banquet service.
