QUALIFICATIONS:
1. BS in computer science or equivalent work experience
2. At least 5 years IT related work experience.
3. Candidates must have excellent analytical skills, good knowledge of project life cycles and the ability to work in a team environment.
4. Two or more years of experience as a SQL Database programmer. SQL Server Administration is a plus.
5. Must be able to assist in design and development reviews.
6. Should be comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
7. Other skills required for this position include
a. SSIS
i. Create, Develop, Test and Maintain SQL Server Integration Service packages
ii. Familiar with Batch Job scheduling and Integration Services automation
iii. Create Data Transformation and Integration solutions
b. General
i. Use SQL Server Database performance tuning tools and techniques to improve database or reports performance
ii. SQL Server 2008 R2 2012 installation and administration skills are a plus
iii. Strong analytical skills and good problem solving skills.
iv. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Description:
Design, Develop, Implement and Maintain SQL Server 2008/2012 database objects and services. Must have basic to intermediate knowledge of T-SQL programming. Familiar with Stored Procedures, Views and Common Table Expressions. Familiar or experienced with SQL Server Reporting services on developing Business Intelligence reports. Has a good background or experience with SQL Analysis Services. Familiar or experienced in ETL and creating OLAP databases. Experience with PowerView or PowerPivot is a plus. Have participated or involved in creating Conceptual and Physical database models for web or windows application(s).
