Full-Time Software Engineer

Job Description

Small healthcare IT consulting company based in Croton on Hudson, NY is looking to add a software engineer.  The company specializes in the intersection of IT and healthcare operations, with a focus on Health Information Exchange (HIE).  Compensation includes $20/hour salary with benefits.

 

Daily tasks include working closely with the HIE software vendor and healthcare facilities across the country to implement new data feeds, leverage functionality of the software vendor for new services, and troubleshoot system issues.

 

Applicant should be organized, a self starter with the ability to multitask.

Requirements:

• ·         Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• ·         Knowledge of the follow a plus:  SOA web services, XSLT mapping, SSL/TLS protocols, integration engines, testing protocols
• ·         Proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
• ·         Ability to write technical specifications documentation
• ·         Ability to draw data flows
