Our Prestige Photographers work out of our local Cedar Park, TX studio and our mobile studios that we set up in high school around the Central Texas area, and we capture high-quality images of high school age students. Most of us remember taking senior portraits prior to graduation. This is your chance to earn income by capturing this life milestone for others!
You don’t need to be a professional photographer to qualify. We offer comprehensive, paid training and will show you everything you need to know about taking memorable portraits and delivering a delightful experience for customers. Primary Responsibilities:
As a Prestige Portraits Photographer, you will direct and photograph students who will soon graduate from high school. You will work with closely with the families of these students and your colleagues to ensure that each student has an enjoyable experience. It will be your responsibility to capture high-quality images while displaying confidence and professionalism at all times.
– Job will consist of photographing at our home studio in Cedar Park, TX and at mobile studios at schools in the Central Texas area.
– Pose and photograph high school seniors and families.
– Consistently capture high quality portraits.
– Assemble equipment at each picture day site.
– Maintain equipment in a safe manner and transport between schools according to company guidelines.
– Provide clear direction and expectations for subjects, parents, school personnel, and student helpers regarding their role in Photo Day.
– Work closely with staff to establish appropriate work and effectively resolve any issues.
– Represent Lifetouch / Prestige Portraits in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all Company and school rules and policies.
– Display confidence and professionalism at all times.
– Use safe work habits, including proper lifting and safe driving.
– Maintain confidentiality of school and student related information.
Requirements :
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to effectively interact with school age children and adults.
– Previous experience working in photography preferred.
– Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
– Willing to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings, weekends and long days.
– Demonstrate a positive and professional image.
– Reliable insured transportation to reach assigned locations and to transport several pieces of photography equipment (if needed).
– Vehicle insurance must be current and in compliance with state law.
– Must have a valid driver’s license.
– Ability to lift and operate camera equipment.
– Ability to travel up to 50 – 100 mile radius depending on territory.
Start Date: June 5 (Must be available June 5-9 for training.)
Salary: $12/hr, $8/hr for travel time, plus we pay for your gas and offer mileage reimbursement for vehicle maintenance.
Job Type: Full-time seasonal (June – Dec.)
Full-time preferred, but we’re flexible.
