Petroleum Tank System Underwriter/Technical Assistant

Rounds & Associatesa business consulting and risk management firm located in Urbandale, Iowa, has an immediate opening for an energetic person with a great attitude & excellent communication skills to fill a Petroleum Storage Tank System Underwriter/Technical Assistant position.

This individual will be reviewing and interacting with clients in reference to all pertinent documents relating to new insurance applications and renewal applications from petroleum storage tank facilities for Pollution Liability insurance coverage.

Duties also include working field with inspectors in reference to reviewing reports generated by field inspectors who perform compliance and loss control inspections of Petroleum Storage Tanks.

·       Petroleum storage tank experience preferred but not required.

·       Applicant should be detailed oriented.

·       2 year college degree preferred

·       Professional phone skills

·       Dependable with excellent attendance & punctuality

·       Strong communication skills

·       Excellent customer service skills

·       Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel & Outlook

·       Ability to multi-task

·       Background check is required.

Salary is dependent on qualifications. Excellent benefits, position is eligible for year-end performance bonus.
