Job Description

MAKATI NEEDS A WEB DEVELOPER

 

We have an immediate need for a Web Developer. You must be self-motivated and have an eye for design and advanced HTML, CSS and PHP coding skills. The candidate must be have great time management skills and be able to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
 
–        5 years minimum Web programming experience, including PHP, Javascript
–        Fluent in either WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or Magento -Wordpress preferred
–        Extensive knowledge on Open Source eCommerce platforms
–        Experience working on landing pages and squeeze pages
–        Development experience using extensible web authoring tools
–        Experience developing and implementing open source software projects
–        Knowledge of SEO and SEM a plus
–        Must speak Fluent (no regional accent) English, also read and write English
–        Expert in HTML, CSS and PHP.
–        Knowledgeable in JavaScript and jquery.
–        Advanced skills using Adobe Photoshop
 
Any other qualifications are a plus and will give you a better chance at acquiring this position.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
–        Design Websites, Landing Pages, WordPress Themes, Logos and more
–        Produce project estimates during sales process, including expertise required, total number of people required, total number of development hours required, etc.
–        Communicate with clients either via phone or email regarding their web development needs
–        Hosts weekly status updates and meetings
–        Delegate tasks to the web development team and supervises the work assigned
–        Communicate with the development team regarding clients’ request and needs and make sure project is finished during the given time frame
–        Make clear instructions to the web development team
–        Help in programming/coding and finishing tasks to meet deadlines
–        Accounts all client work and team members handling the projects
 
The position is FULL TIME, for 40 hours/week and 160 hours/month.
 
Other Requirements
–        Stable internet connection at home
–        Skype, or the ability to be on Skype every day for communication during your whole shift
–        We are looking for someone in either The Philippines or Thailand that is able to start immediately
