Job Description

Makati City needs Manager (MICE Manager)

A. TASK MANAGEMENT

Relationship Management (Retention)

· Organizes regular business review with MICE clients.
· Conducts regular competitors report.
· Recommends process improvement based on MICE clients feedback and needs assessment.
· Liaises with the clients on their requirements and trouble shoots any operational concerns should the need arise.

Business Development (Acquisition)

· Develops strategic approaches to win new MICE accounts
· Formulates business growth strategies to ensure achievement of MICE revenue targets.Conducts regular review of achievement of sales forecasts
· sales progress, and actual new sales.
· Network with clients where M.I.C.E. business is strong
· Ensure company relationship with appropriate suppliers.
· Develops new products and organizes product launch, events and communications to customers.

MICE Unit Management:

· Close coordination with Operations Manager to ensure profitable, organized and consistent Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with MICE accounts.

B. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

· Motivates MICE team to ensure heightened drive to achieve peak performance
ensure proper guidance and clarity of direction of the MICE sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge Needed 

1. nuts and bolts of the M.I.C.E. business

2. industry details (nuances) of the industries of current and potential M.I.C.E. clients
3. power point presentation
4. excel
5. well honed sales techniques
6. geography
7. descriptions of destinations – its features, program of events, unique attractions, etc.
8. current rates and practices of each supplier

Requirements

· Finished a 4 year course, preferably in marketing or communications or any business related course
at least 4 – 6 years experience in the travel agency side of the travel business and at least 2 – 3 years in a managerial position
female, 35 – 50 years old
pleasing personality
very good oral and written communication skill 
willing to travel
