Full-Time Kronos Upgrade Consultant

Job Description

lient is upgrading Kronos software and the consultant will assist with the project. This roles requires a true subject matter expert with Kronos. Candidates will perform system validation and validate the new software. This is a functional role but the focus is on a Test Lead who can work with the internal teams as well as Kronos directly, if necessary

Requirements:

  • Experience with Kronos Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, Accruals
  • Strong systems integration experience, particularly to/from packaged applications(Peoplesoft), is an added advantage
  • A strong functional knowledge of Kronos application suite in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment
  • Review timecards to identify potential errors and develop / distribute reports outlining information requiring attention
  • Conduct payroll reconciliation to ensure hours submitted through Kronos match hours paid; If hours do not match, identify and document reasons
  • Manage the creation and on-going administration of Hyperfind Queries and Workforce Genies
  • Research and resolve customer cases
  • Develop and deliver Kronos training for facility Supervisors and Human Resources, to include basic functionality, attendance, and/or accrual modules
  • Conduct thorough testing on new policies / configuration, attendance, and/or accrual modules
  • Assist team during new implementations, transitions, and enhancements for our current locations to gain a better understanding of the locations’ particular needs, and the type of training approach that would be best suited for that location
  • Identify new and update current metrics to help drive process improvements
  • Partner with adjacent teams to better understand the payroll process and coordinate efforts to eliminate waste within our individual and common processes
  • Create and maintain team support documentation and customer support documentation
  • Leverage your knowledge of Kronos to implement best practices & new policies, along with driving support decisions
  • Continually evaluate, identify, and execute continuous process improvement while driving toward common business goals, practices and policies
  • Strong technical knowledge of the underlying tables, integration points and technology processes are critical to success in this role
  • Ability to work independently with limited general supervision
  • Experience with low-level ad-hoc query tools (Toad, SQLPlus) and a detailed working knowledge SQL queries
  • Root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills
  • Experience with PL/SQL
