Job Description

Our organization is currently hiring an Inventory Clerk to work in our cosmetic warehouse. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary. This position requires the employee to be detail and action oriented, have strong organizational skills, able to work in a face-paced environment, self-motivated, and a quick learner. Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database
• Close shop packets received and purge computer database
• Receive and issue finished goods into computer database
• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel
• Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired
• Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights
• Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory

Skills and Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• 2+ years’ experience in inventory control
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
