Job Description

THE JOB:
Looking for fun, out-going, confident people who like working with kids through adults! Learn face painting, balloon twisting, caricatures, body painting, and more! The bulk of the job is going to birthday parties around CT, MA and RI and making kids smile, but as you get better we’ll start bringing you on to some super fun (and huge) corporate events in NYC, Boston, and everywhere in between!

THE DETAILS:
– You’ll get your schedule at least one week in advanced with a list of that week’s events– Dates, times, location, service, etc.
– You head on over to the event, make everyone smile, and have a great time
– Work part time on weekends with flexibility (If you make yourself available, we do get weekday events too!)
– Gigs are typically 1.5 – 2.5 hrs long and you average at least one event a week
– We’ll train you in any/all services and supply you with all materials/products needed! Training and your kit materials are all free!
– Pay starts at $30 an hour, with plenty of room for bonuses, raises, etc.


THE QUALIFICATIONS:
– Must have your own transportation and valid driver’s license
– Some background in art and working for the public
– Must have full weekend availability
– MUST be fun, outgoing, and professional!
– Must be comfortable working by yourself
– Must have good scheduling and self-management skills
– Must be able to pass a background check against child abuse charges

EXTRA CREDIT:
(If you have any experience in any of the following, it’s a HUGE bonus and please include in your resume!)
– Childcare and/or teaching experience
– Performance/Theatrical experience
– Musical/Vocal experience
