Job Description

Adaptive Community Support Services, Inc. is now hiring full and part-time Direct Support Professionals for our Day Services program and PRN Direct Support Professionals for our In-Home Services programs. We believe that our staff are the face of our services and want dedicated, compassionate people to apply. Qualifications:

  1. At least 18 years of age

  2. High school graduate or equivalent preferred

  3. Ability to read, write, and follow directions

  4. Current CPR and first aid

  5. Current PPD, or Chest x-ray if applicable

  6. 6 months experience preferred

  7. Successful completion of Adaptive’s training and testing program(s) as applicable

  8. Work positively and favorably with clients, families, and staff.

  9. Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude.

     

    Responsibilities:

  1. Follow the instructions of supervisor(s).

  2. Effective communication skills

  3. Implement the Individual Support Plan

  4. Observe, implement, report, and document client activities, status, High Risk plans and Behavior Plans

  5. Basic infection control procedures and universal precautions

  6. Report client/family complaints to agency

  7. Maintain client confidentiality/adheres to HIPPA requirements

  8. Attend staff meetings, case conferences, team meetings, and educational in-services as required

  9. All other duties as assigned
