Business Development position at a leading e-learning company with $10+M of investment

 

Born as a simple, social quiz app, Quipper has grown into an international e-learning company. We have projects spanning the world, from the US to Japan, and our main service, Quipper School, is now launching in Europe and South East Asia, following a successful launch in the Philippines. And we recently completed a funding round, so we’re looking to grow fast!

 

We’re a lively and somewhat unusual collection of people located in Makati, Philippines fascinated by technology, and with a burning ambition to change education for the better. If you fancy throwing your hat into the ring and conquering the ed-tech space with us, get in touch.

■ Title

Business Development for South East Asia Region

■ Roles

  • Manage user acquisition/activation for our teacher focused education platform in South East Asia.(Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam)
    • Digital marketing (ads, social media acquisition, user acquisition/activation campaigns)
    • User activation support
    • Data analysis

 

  • Establish local partnerships for the platform
    • Content development — local publishers, teachers, schools
    • Service integration — mobile operators, publishers, device OEMs
    • Government

 

  • User feedback driven service development
    • Establish feedback loop with existing/potential users
    • User research (qualitative, quantitative, usage data analysis)
    • Suggest product specs based on user feedback

 

  • But overall, as a start-up, we expect him/her to put on different hats, and work on various projects in the agile/flexible manner.

 

 Requirements

  • ESSENTIAL: 3+ years of experience in managing marketing/business development
  • PREFERABLE: Experience in web marketing
  • PREFERABLE: Experience in web services
  • PREFERABLE: Experience in the education sector

·  Fresh graduates from locally well-known MBA courses

 

Salary: 30k- 60k
